As big fans of the show, Outlander we wanted to create a series of pins to reflect the magick. The first one in our collection is "Journeycakes". PB & Jelly sandwiches play a vital role in Claire & Bree's connection to the 1960's. If we delve a little deeper more importantly sustaining them through time travel but also serve as a connection to memories, family, history and love. We decided to pair it with the magickal standing stones of Craigh Na Dun.
You can find many references throughout the seasons: Bree makes Claire a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for her journey back to Jamie. As well as Bree made herself several sandwiches when crossing through the stones. Just as powerful were Claire’s peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, whipped up in honor of Roger and Bree’s departure and Jamie ate it with a fork and knife (our favorite part).
