Recipes

1. Neptune’s Nectar Cocktail

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 oz Dark Rum
    • 1 oz Poseidon Rum Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup™
    • 1 oz Lime Juice
    • Sparkling Water
    • Ice
    • Lime Wheel for garnish
  • Instructions:
    1. In a shaker, combine dark rum, Poseidon syrup, and lime juice.
    2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.
    3. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
    4. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a lime wheel.

2. Siren’s Call Pancakes

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
    • 2 tsp Baking Powder
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1 tbsp Sugar
    • 1 cup Milk
    • 1 Egg
    • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
    • Poseidon Rum Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup™ for serving
  • Instructions:
    1. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
    2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.

Poseiden flooded my tastebuds with flavor...

In my seafaring days as a pirate, the great Poseiden would test our limits on the oceans, but a good barrel of rum would quash our fears and we'd be able to brave his mighty brawn!
LOL! I only WISH I were a pirate! Yo-ho-ho... this rum barrel infused syrup is the booty I would have loved to capture on any sea adventures! I tried this and felt like Poseiden knocked me over with a wave! The burst of rum is not subtle, but not overpowering either. I didn't expect the rum flavor to be as prominent as it was, and it IS swimmingly delightful! It pairs wonderfully with food/drink containing dark chocolate. It's a pairing that is a MUST try! Drooling...
Oh, and please don't think the rum in this syrup will make you curse like a sailor...the sweet taste makes your mouth so jovial, your words come out gushingly sugary!! Raising my trident to you, Wytchwood!

It's delicious and decadent in a cream cheese frosting for carrot cake or pumpkin spice cake! I even went as far as to put it in my chia tea instead of honey, OMG new level of tea sweetener unlocked. 🤤😋

Rum is always my choice of drink, and this syrup infused with rum is to die for. It has a perfect blend not only for you standard waffles, French toast, etc, but goes exceptionally well with tea and coffee! Our household loves everything WytchWoods crafts!
